Dominant Agnoletto and Bleddyn streak to win in Men’s Madison

A dominant display by Bendigo’s Blake Agnoletto & his South Australian partner & best mate, Oliver Bleddyn on winning the 50th Anniversary of the Men’s 200 lap Bendigo Madison.

In an impressive show from the first sprint, they continually banked up an unassailable lead with their blistering & tactical sprints.

They had a perfectly matched partnership with Bleddyn knowing exactly were to place Agnoletto on his home track in front of very vocal home crowd & family.

Agnoletto – the Men’s Australian Madison Champion (With Kel O’Brien) – dreamt as a kid to one day win the Bendigo Madison & tonight his dream came true.

This adds to an incredible last 6 months that had included also winning the Australian U23 Men’s Criterium Championship in Ballarat where Bleddyn was also a major key factor on his win.

There is no time to rest for Agnoletto & Bleddyn as they fly out Monday morning to Hong Kong, for the UCI Nations Cup.

Congratulations also to another past Bendigo resident & now Australian Olympic track endurance coach, Tim Decker for guiding these two future stars.
